  • All participants will be asked to complete questionnaires at 4 time points: Before treatment, after treatment at 8 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year.
  • Group A will be asked to attend 5 x 1-hour Zoom sessions with a trained physio or exercise physiologist and complete home activities.
  • Group B will be given usual guideline-based advice to follow.
  • You don’t need to travel anywhere to participate, all activities can be done from home.

Why Participate?

The aim of a clinical trial is to understand whether a treatment is safe and effective. Clinical trials may not be of direct benefit to people who participate, but its results may help others with the condition.

If you choose to participate in the CAPACITY trial, the information you contribute will be used to guide the future management of people living with chronic low back pain.

Am I Eligible?

You may be eligible to participate if you are:

  • Aged 45 years or older
  • Have had low back pain for at least 3 months
  • Have access to the internet
  • Are currently physically inactive
